Studio/Photo Shoot Terms & Conditions
1. Non-Refundable Booking Fees
All photo shoot booking fees, vouchers, and gift cards are non-refundable. They may be transferred to another date or person of your choosing at no additional cost by contacting Milner Studios.
2. Rescheduling Policy
Milner Studios requires a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to reschedule photo shoots or viewing appointments. Failure to provide this notice will incur a $50 rescheduling fee.
3. Booking with Gift Cards or Vouchers
To book a photo shoot using a gift card or voucher, a booking fee is still required. The gift card or voucher value cannot be applied toward the booking fee unless it is an eGift Card.
4. Copyright
You acknowledge that Milner Studios owns and retains the copyright of all images taken, which are protected under international copyright laws.
5. Photographer Illness or Emergency
In the unlikely event the photographer is injured, becomes ill, or faces an emergency preventing the scheduled photo shoot, we will contact you promptly to arrange another suitable date and time. If you choose not to reschedule, any session fees paid will be fully refunded.
6. Loss or Damage of Images
While we take the utmost care with your images, Milner Studios cannot guarantee against loss, theft, corruption, or destruction due to technical malfunction or other causes beyond our control. In such cases, our liability is limited to a full refund of monies paid or rescheduling the session.
6. Client Illness
If you or a family member becomes ill, we can reschedule your photo shoot without forfeiting your session fee, provided we are notified as soon as possible.
Usage Rights
Upon purchasing your portraits (printed products and/or digital files), you are granted a personal-use licence. This includes sharing on social media, use for corporate headshots, model or acting portfolios, and printing for yourself, friends, and family. Images may not be sold, given to third parties, or altered in a way that changes their integrity without prior written consent. For commercial usage beyond these terms, please contact us for copyright purchase options.
7. Recording Devices
The use of video recording devices and/or personal cameras is prohibited during your photo shoot.
8. Studio Promotional Use
Milner Studios reserves the right to use images for display, editorial, publication, promotion, and advertising purposes, including social media, marketing materials, books, and website portfolios. If you prefer your images not be used, please inform us in writing via email within 30 days of your session.
9. Archiving Policy
After your order is finalised, only the purchased images and those selected by Milner Studios will be archived. All other files may be deleted, and we cannot guarantee long-term accessibility of stored files.
10. Order Policy
Due to the custom nature of photography products, once an order goes into production, payments are non-refundable. After the order leaves the studio, no refunds or returns are available. Prices are guaranteed for 30 days from your photo shoot date; beyond this period, prices are subject to change without notice. Prices are non-negotiable.
